Krystal Lawhead, Owner/Primary Caregiver
Born and raised amongst the majestic forests of the Pacific Northwest, Krystal’s dream has always been to open a warm and inviting home daycare environment for like minded families. Before moving back to Portland (winter 2023), Krystal had spent the past few years living in the Nation's Capital, and before that, Seattle and the Bay Area.
Krystal has over a decade of experience working in the field of early childhood education, Specializing in Reggio, R.I.E and Play Based settings. Her experience ranges from being a Lead Teacher of Infant & Toddler classrooms to being a Nanny & Family Assistant.
Krystal finds joy in furthering her education in the early childhood education field. Training in the pedagogues that align with her teaching practices and gaining more knowledge from those in the ECE community.

Over the 13 years I have accumulated over 125 hours of trainings. I do a minimum of 10-12 hours of ECE trainings a year to stay up to date on the research and resources in regards to early childhood education
