Little Folx exists because I couldn’t find a space that felt right.

I was already a parent, already a caregiver, already political, and I kept noticing how few parenting spaces spoke to people like me or offered tools for opening up more radical, more honest conversations about parenting.

Little Folx started as an in home daycare and grew into a place where I share writing, zines, and resources for parents and caregivers who are drawn to a more radical version of gentle parenting. One rooted in autonomy, trust, and questioning authority, without losing softness or care.

I believe children are whole people. I believe autonomy isn’t earned by age. And I believe how we treat kids is deeply connected to how we show up for each other.

I’ve spent over a decade working with young children in play based, child led environments, and I’m also raising a kid in real time. I believe children are whole people.

This space is for parents who feel a little out of step in mainstream parenting culture. For folx who want language, frameworks, and encouragement to unlearn some things, try new approaches, and raise kids with dignity and curiosity.

You won’t find perfect answers here. Just thoughtful tools, real conversations, and community.
